Abstract
: : Biorobots For Real World Applications
A new class of robots called behavior-based robots, or biorobots, has resulted in remarkable developments
previously not possible. Demonstrated capabilities and the flexible, robust characteristics of these robots
have resulted in rapidly expanding new application areas and the potential for significant growth and change.
Example non-Cartesian applications are presented. Biorobot applications which still adapt traditional or
Cartesian control are not included.
